What is Project: Informed?
Project: Informed, abbreviated P:I, is a social outlet providing information on all kinds of topics. Opinions from all sides of arguments are taken into consideration, and if your opinion is not specifically expressed, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to make it known.
The main purpose of The Project is to arm members with the information needed to educate themselves and defend their opinion. In a world where unbiased or even fair opinions are nearly non-existent, The Project hopes to level the playing field in the minds of the members of the Forum.
P:I provides boards to chat, debate, and blog, as well as stay informed on current information and news.
A newsletter, posted under its own board, provides useful as well as completely random information and facts. From topics on music to politics, there will be something for everyone in the newsletter. To assure this is the case, there is also a suggestions section for the newsletter where members can make suggestions as to what they want in the next issue.
What topics are covered in the boards and newsletter?
The topics that are covered are limitless. Politics, music, pop culture, news, philosophy, art, and everything else could be covered. If members want to debate on milk or dark chocolate, they can simply create a thread on that topic and have at it.
What are Mod Topics?
Mod Topics are featured debates, polls, information, or sources that are more organized and moderated than the usual topic. Mod Topics are also contained in an organized topic Vault for easy reference. From The Vault, members can access both sides of a given topic, see links and sources, and arm themselves with the information needed to defend their opinion.
Why isn't my avatar uploading/working?
If you're having troubles with your avatar not changing after uploading one, go to the "Avatar" thread in the FAQ board.
To ask and/or submit questions, simply create a new topic in the Suggestions/Questions board.
