Do you think that our country is heading towards the idea of 'freedom from religion' rather than 'freedom of religion' as originally stated in our constitution?

Excellent point. Yes, absolutely. The purpose of religion is to have a guide to become holy and pleasing to our Creator and Lord by pointing to Him and serving Him, thus gaining the happiness of heaven. The message that our government leaders, our media, and our Hollywood and entertainment stars are sending to us is to leave God out and to love ourselves above all. "Freedom of religion" is the freedom to believe what each man desire's to. But by rejecting God, not necesarily by our words, but by our actions, shows a wish to run from our responsiblilties. Aka, "Freedom from religion".
God loves us, but if we reject Him, He will accept it. We asked Him to leave our schools, and, as the true Gentleman that He is, He backed down. We told Him that we didn't want to obey His Law of Nature, so He didn't prevent us. In many of our states, marriage isn't between one man and one woman anymore. We threw Him out of our political decisions, separating church from state. All because we've forgotten that we cannot exist upon our own power, or wish to forget. We desire to be gods and rule the universe that only He was able to make.
