That doesn't answer anything. Even if he did put sin and death and decay he is still can help them! they are innocent. like I said before it doesn't matter what tools you have given somebody. If you have the power to stops something bad you should. If he "created the world" he obviously has the power to stop suffering. example: If a school is considered a tiny world [with jobs and things] you can create badness and goodness [good grades, bully, etc.]. So suppose the headmaster creates bullying. But they give the students the tools to fight bullying. If somebody is getting beat up you still should help them. It's the right thing to do. No matter what you say "god" is still allowing suffering

Like I said before, in the beginning God created us with a freedom of choice so we weren't robots that were worshiping God without choice. So with this freedom of choice we had a responsibility: to follow God and not eat the Fruit of the tree of life or to take our own path by eating it. We chose to eat it, which brought sin and curses upon the human race (which brought sickness and other diseases). If God stopped this from happening, or if he randomly stops wickedness in the world right now, then we would automatically become robots, basically. He wants us to worship Him by our own choice so it actually means more - because it wouldn't mean much if he made a bunch of robots worshiping in the same way saying the same things. It means a lot more to God when we ask for forgiveness for our sins and repent from those sins and start worshiping him. I have heavy eyes and my brain isn't totally working tonight so I hope all of that made sense. I think I got the main point across though.

No matter what you say "god " is still allowing suffering First of all, God did not create sin. Technically speaking, God didn't create good, either; for He IS goodness itself, as He is love, generosity, selflessness, mercy, and all the other virtues one can think of. You understand that God doesn't do evil. Yet you don't understand why He doesn't "help them" who suffer. Actually He does. He will help us to bear our sufferings if we only ask Him, as the Bible says "Ask, and and it will be given to you; Seek, and you will find; Knock, and the door will be opened to you." However, that doesn't mean that you shall recieve whatever you want. If it is good for you, and of you ask for it properly, (i.e., "Not my will, but Your will") God has promised that you shall receive it. Sometimes what seems good for us is not answered. For example, you pray for work because you're unemployed, and you need this certain job, but it might not be answered immediately because maybe someone else needs that job more than you do, or maybe there's a more appropriate job out that you would excel in. The reason man must suffer, including innocent children, is because unfortunately man is corrupt; and man also has free will. Why doesn't God help? Sometimes it is better for us to suffer. We learn to be patient. We earn merit for the sins we have commited. In some cases, we help others, by showing how to appreciate their good fortunes, or by being a role model, or by showing them the power of God Himself. Take a little boy who is in a wheelchair; he can't walk, or run, climb trees, jump rope, or do any of the things that normal kids can do. Yet, every time someone sees him, he has a smile on his face; he comforts others when they speak of their petty problems; he is intelligent, and delights all those who see him. Most importantly, he never complains of his serious disability. He also gives hope, that in this world of sinfulness, hate, greed, and murder, there is kindness and love. Another good point: God has promised that He will never allow us to carry a burden that is too heavy for us, and God is faithful to His promises. Last of all, the main reason we suffer is our fault. We sin. As a result, we suffer and die. Those who are innocent often suffer to gain merit for those who are too lazy or ignorant to gain merit for themselves.

Very good Bandito. Another reason why God allows suffering (because He does) is to create a greater good out of it.... for instance: "why did Sept. 11 happen?" More than likely cause of our sin, but God did find goodness through it all. Fr. John Corapi said that more people went to confession that day than had gone all that year so far! I mean look at His goodness working!
Suffering is a necessity, because without it the gates of Heaven could not have been opened. God allowed His own Son to suffer. Can you imagine watching your Son go through something like that? God allowed it for the greater good.

"Bandita". Excellent point, Daniel. And no, I can't imagine watching my own son go through anything like that. I can't imagine watching anybody I love going through something like that, really.
