I found this story on gatewaytojesus.com/inspiringstoriespage3.htmlI found it to be funny, but in all saddness it is very true as well. One Sunday morning during service, a 2,000-member congregation was surprised to see two men enter, both covered from head to toe in black and carrying sub-machine guns. One of the men proclaimed, "Anyone willing to take a bullet for Christ remain where you are." Immediately, the choir fled, the deacons fled, and most of the congregation fled. Out of the 2,000 there only remained around 20. The man who had spoken took off his hood, looked at the preacher and said, Okay Pastor, I got rid of all the hypocrites. Now you may begin your service. Have a nice day!" And the two men turned and walked out.

I have really liked that story. I heard a Priest tell it first, is it true?

The story is not true, but the story sets an example for us. We should ask ourselves the question if we are honestly Christians or if we are like the people who ran away from the people with the guns. Are we going to church just because that's the way we were raised, or are we truly seeing a change in our lives?
More importantly, we need to ask the question Are we trusting God with our life in all that we do. We should be giving 100% towards God throughout the whole week, not just 1/7 days of the week towards God. I say "we" because I need to do the same, I am struggling with putting God before everything that I do.
