What do you think? Should high school students (and possibly college students, up to you) be paid for doing school work (such as homework, tests, quizzes). In order to be paid the student would have to get a 90% or better on a paper and it can't be a paper that was for a completion grade. What should the price be for each paper/quiz/test and should it be higher as the percentage goes up? Would this be a big motivator for high school students to exceed? Would this kill or help the economy? I heard about a school, which I believe was in South Carolina, that already does this. Just want to know your guys' opinions before I do a speech on this topic.

I do not think that high school students should be paid. It is to their own benefit to go to school and get an education. Taxpayers pay for their education (if they go to a public school). Students should not be paid to do something they are lucky to have. In some countries it is difficult to get any sort of education.
Education is a gift, not a job. Sure, it takes lots of work and effort, but it is for the student's own individual benefit.
