I think so. Right now, it is too Democratically biased. It seems to me that when either the US's government is overly Democratic or Republican it just doesn't work very well. The majority party has too much control on what's put on the table, and they lose focus of what they are even there for. The government seems to work best when the parties are about evenly balanced, although having a small majority (in my opinion, Republican majority) does make everything work much better. The overwhelming Democratic majority in the House and Senate, plus the President is unbearable. I will post more about this later - I have to go to class....

I definitely think that many Americans in general are too politically biased. They allow the R or D after their name to determine their stances on every issue. I don't think people should look at issues based on whether or not other Democrats (if you're a Democrat) or other Republicans (if you're Republican) view issues the same way as you. People should make up their own minds based on facts and not conform to the standards of what other similarly-minded people think. There are things I disagree with liberals on, and there are things I disagree with conservatives on. In each instance, I just looked at the stats and came up with my own conclusion based on what was the common sense answer to that particular problem.
