If you're 16 feet from a door, and after each step you're halfway as close to the door, how many steps will it take until you reach the door?

Ah, don't worry, I don't know how I knew it. I'm usually not good at these either...
The answer is: You'll never reach the door. If after each step you're half the distance from the door you were before, the distance will just half each time. (Of course you could still reach out and touch the door when you're close enough, but literally speaking...). Half 16 is 8, half that 4, half that 2, half that 1, half that 0.5, half that 0.25, etc.
